Two of the latest books I have read. I actually listened to The Secret Life of Bees. I have read it before, and it is this month book for my book club. I love this book, and I am so glad I listened to it. The reader was fabulous. This book has so much depth. I loved it! I just read another book by her too, The Mermaid Chair, not so good. I felt bad that it just didn't compare.
Number the Stars is a very easy read. It is written for younger readers, but it is very powerful. You and your children should read this one! This author has written some other books that I have enjoyed that are much heavier reading.
Both of these books are on my definately recommend list!
