Summer So Far

The girls have been busy.  Summer is always a fun time with church activities.  Youth conference was the middle part of June.  Rachel was especially excited, she was on Youth Committee for the stake and was majorly involved in planning it. They went to Snow College in Ephraim.  Lots of fun games, and spiritual experiences.  Rachel got hit in the head by someones knee, someones elbow, and by a ball.  Good thing she has a hard head!  Emmalee got to be the brave one of her group.  They always voted her to go first or do the difficult parts of the activities.  These two girls are very good at being involved and involving those around them.  They are natural leaders!
Here they are ( &
Becca) with some of the youth in our ward, plus one of Emmalee's friends at the annual 4th of July breakfast.

July was camps.  Rachel and Emmalee went up into the Uintahs and stayed at a Boy Scout Camp.  They got to do Repelling, shooting, canoeing. and lot of other fun stuff.  Ellie got to go to Princess Camp and meet Rapunzel.  They had a tea party, scavenger hunt, crafts, games, and so much fun.  This will be a tradition for a few years I think!

Becca has been working all summer at a Sprinkler Supply company.  She has been helping answer phones during the busy months.  It has been a blessing for her.  She has been able to do fun things with Brett as well and catch up with her other friends.  Brett got his mission call to the Arcadia California Mission.  He enters the MTC on September 4th.  Becca heads back up to school on August 22nd.  She is ready to be back up there in Logan.

Emmalee and Rachel just finished up Seussical the Musical with Taylorsville City.  It was fun for them.  They are trying out this week for Beauty and the Beast with South Jordan Youth Theater.  No reason to take any time off!
School starts on August 21st.  Ellie will be in 2nd grade, Emmalee in 9th grade, and Rachel is a Senior.  It will be nice to get back into a good routine around here.
